VACANT NEIGHBOR HAS GONE BETA RC1

Soontai Survival will happen ~~sometime soon after the next patch.~~

Soontai has been working on map making daily, hopefully will finish one soon.

Currently Working On:

Vacant Neighbor (Survival)

Others (secret, also paused to finish first one)

-Vacant Neighbor-

Four survivors have just made it out of the forest, expecting to find the next camp (ugh, reminds me of HL2). Unfortunately, when they get there, they find the camp has been overrun. Just as they want to give up they find a shaggy neighbor's house next to an abandoned train line with a working radio. On it broadcasts a help signal. As they answer, they prepare for their (last) fight of their lives...

NICE....but....where does this takes place....i dont want to hear that banjo bill zombie....from the second game...or if he is there, and u have new skinds then it would make me happy to kick his ***...

why it gota take place in new orleans? idk if hl2 has snow textures, but lets make a russian forest lvl, lolz, or lets shoot some zombies in the kremlin,.....hell make it in SPARTA...just dont copy the second game that is being boycotted anyway...

wait...i saw screenshots.....r those hl2 textures?.....plz say no...

They are l4d textures.

As you might notice, the texturing isn't done.

A real mapper should make a map in 90-95% dev textures (think OrangeX3), and texture last. I just textured early so I could help you guys visualize.

....dude....i dont think he that close...he gona do a lot of the gameplay testing by himself with the console to recreate many of the scenarios and how hard/easy they are and w/e, he knows what he doin, i would say he should b done in a week, a good map takes time Smile

Close. Collectively like 25-30 hours.

Gameplay testing, it doesnt matter too much.

You see all the time beta RC maps in TF2. It's not like I have to finalize before release.

You guys can help.

so u saying that its playable as it is now, but u probably gona not use most of the textures?......cuz than we can just have an event for that
