If it's a comic, why do you need other people or a script? Unless they're helping you draw or think of ideas. Can you explain a little more?

The script is more to know where to go. I have a program which edits game screenshots into comics.

So basically we don't talk, the script is for knowing where to stand, and like if we would shoot or something.

PS It eventually involves all the classes, right now it's just soldier and spy. Chapter 1 30% done.

I think we should make a machinima. I can edit and I have a microphone. I mean... why not?

Making a machinima is kinda easy, but kinda hard too. (Trust me, attempted making one). All you really need is money, time, effort, and people who are willing to help...

To make it look and feel sooo professional you need these tools:
1) FRAPS - Main tool for video capture. ($37, Admin should be able to buy it)
2) Basic editing software - GIMP or Photoshop can do, but I would lean towards Photoshop.
3) Advanced editing software (MAYBE optional) - Helps with adding multiple layers and makes the merging process (merging the sound, video capture, and any addons you would like to add. One of my favorites is adding multiple games in one)
4) Sony Vegas (Again, MAYBE optional) - Adds the "WOW!" effect to the audience. Commonly used to add a dynamic, professional look to certain machinimas. But for TF2 it should not be needed. (Unless you want to add weather effects)

There are also Third-Party programs for certain games. I.E. WoWModelViewer, WoWMapViewer, and GMods.

TIPS:
- (Obviously) TURN OFF THE HUD. Make every single thing on the HUD disappear. No one wants to see your ammo count... One exception, however, is if you're having it first person.
- Know the boundaries/limits of video games. You can't just have a Spy start slicing and dicing his enemies until little cubes lie on the floor.
- THE CAMERA CAN'T GO EVERYWHERE! Utilize what you have. If there's a cliff that the cameraman can stand on, use that cliff. If it's a big open space, and you want to get a birds-eye shot, stand on top of some one if you have to.
- Try to actually act out the script, include the music too. Having them just bob their heads around is going to make things harder. Say the script and play the music while filming.
- Don't make camera effects that can blind some one, or give them motion sickness...
- Try avoiding to use other peoples ideas. I.E. (This is going to disappoint some people...) Turn a Pyro into "Player" from The Leet World by making him not talk, make him type/use subtitles, and make him talk 1337.

I'm not saying I don't like the machinima idea. On the contrary, I actually want to make a machinima. But it's not as simple to be all like, "OH MAN! LETS JUST RECORD SOME FOOTAGE ON HYPERCAM AND ADD VOICES AND MUSIC AND POST IT UP ON YOUTUBE!!!!1" I'm sorry but it's a bit difficult.

So Roflcopter, I think you can help me with the comic. You actually get a pretty big part.

Anyone else that wants to help can be stage crew and/or backup.

Stage crew would be like an engineer so we get a dispenser or demo for special fx explosions.

EXPLOSIONS and LASERS make great visual effects.

Okay, with only 3 people (including me as cameraman) I will have to make it a simple comic. Others can still join though as guests and backstage crew.
